An old fishing village, Cabo de Palos retains its
charm despite being on the tip of the highly developed La Manga
strip. Here you will find a beautiful light house, once a
school for lighthouse keepers. The marina houses a number
of excellent sea food restaurants and here you will see the fishermen
repairing their nets and getting their boats ready for the next
fishing trip. The seas surrounding the coast here have been
declared a Marine Reserve. Not only is there a wealth of
marine life to explore, but also a number of wrecks for divers
to explore.
